The Management Certificate equips our Lifestyle Consultants to become a Deputy Club Manager, and following this our Management Diploma prepares employees to be Club Managers of the future. This development programme covers many of the key aspects of managing a health club.
Management Certificate (Part 1)
The Management Certificate (Part One) journal is designed to cover tasks that should form part of normal operations in managing a health club.
The learning objective for part one of the Management Certificate is to confirm competence in core areas of the job role of a Deputy Club Manager
Management Certificate (Part2)
The aim of the course is to develop and confirm your knowledge and skills in 5 key areas of basic management, which are necessary in the role of a Deputy & Club Manager. These being:

Management Diploma
General Management
1-day module covering time management, communication, delegation, and leadership styles.
Commercial Management
1-day module covering sales techniques, corporate membership lead generation. Market planning and negotiating skills.
Health & Safety Management
1-day module covering H&S legislation, COSHH regulations, RIDDOR, first aid at work, hazard spotting, risk assessments, accident reporting, internal procedures - all specifically applied to operations in a hotel health club.
Train the Trainer
1 day module covering learning styles, individuals motivation to learn, coaching styles and techniques, writing effective lesson/training plans.
Presentation Skills
1-day module to provide individuals with the knowledge and confidence to enable them to prepare, plan and deliver a presentation.
