After completing my NVQ Level 3 in 1999, I joined Spirit Health Clubs as a part-time Beauty Therapist. Fresh out of college I was looking for a reputable and recognised company to help develop my experience and support me in furthering my skills.
Progressing quickly to a full-time position, Spirit Health Clubs encouraged me to complete training courses in various product ranges including St. Tropez, Jessica Nails and Elemis. This focus on training and development has continued throughout my career, most recently I have undertaken a number of training courses with Dermalogica and am currently working towards a qualification in Reflexology.
My experience and skills have allowed me to progress my career and I am now Beauty Manager with responsibility for all beauty operations within my site. I oversee two other therapists and have responsibility for day-to-day operations, promotions, sales targets and reviewing performance. Over the years I have grown the business to become the busiest site within Spirit Health Clubs.
I enjoy the challenge my role gives, and the support and development
offered by Spirit Health Clubs has given me the opportunity to work
within a highly professional and friendly health club. I could not have
asked for a better company to work for.
