SPIRIT SHAPERS

This year Spirit Health Club, Birmingham has started running a weight management & healthy eating programme.  This is a 6 week programme run by Gareth Mason and Jason Partridge is free for members to attend.  Each session last approximately 30 minutes and aims to be informative and educational

The Objectives of this 6 week programme are:

 

       Understand what we mean by healthy eating and how to apply to your life

       Assess and understand food labels

       Understand why all of the main nutrients are important to you

       Understand the importance of vitamins and minerals

       Know how to make healthy choices when eating out

       Understand the effects of caffeine and alcohol

       Blow open the myths about popular diets and eating fads

'ABS'OLUTELY FABULOUS 

An excellent session using Fit-Balls to really work those abs!!

AEROBICS MIX/ AEROBICS FOR ALL

A brilliant high & low impact aerobic class to music. Excellent for increasing stamina, improving co-ordination & general fitness.

AQUACISE

Workout to music in the water with this low-impact session, suitable for all levels the class will train the heart and lungs whilst also strengthening and stretching the whole body.

BODY CONDITIONING

A general fitness and toning class incorporating all areas of the body.

CARDIO BLAST

A brilliant workout for the heart and lungs, this session incorporates both step and aerobics to give you the ultimate workout.

FITNESS PILATES

A great class to help develop the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality and invigorates the mind.

HIPS, BUMS & TUMS / BUMS, TUMS & THIGHS

A fantastic toning workout for specific body areas. This class includes an aerobic session to burn fat whilst also incorporating a toning session using weights and exercise bands.

YOGA

This yoga based class offers many benefits; classes incorporate gentle stretches, breathing techniques and relaxation methods to improve flexibility and relax the mind and body.

STRETCH AND TONE

Does exactly what it says in the title… stretching and toning all your muscle groups this session helps improve your flexibility and muscle tone.

BOXERCISE

This energetic fun class is a great stress buster.  This boxercise training is both an areobic  and anaerobic workout that improves hand eye cordination as well as balance and timing.
